A/Professor James Watson UQ – climate actions are needed now to save species

In this podcast, Beyond Zero radio talk to Associate Professor James Watson is Principal Research Fellow, School of Earth and Environmental Sciences, at University of Queensland (UQ) and Director of Science and Research Initiative at the Wildlife Conservation Society. James was recently elected the global president of the Society for Conservation Biology. He is the director the Green Fire Science research group, whose mission is to do applied research that is linked directly to the practice of conservation.
"We are always talking about climate change as a future risk but it is clearly impacting species now. we need to reframe the conversation that it is a current serious threat and actions are needed now to save species.
