* Gets to play an equal character

* She was raised by Atlanna in the movie

* Mera is opposite to Arthur, who is unsure of himself and his purpose

* Will have hydrokinesis and “not just making bubbles” like in Justice League

* Justice League showed her warrior side (including costume), Aquaman will reveal more, including casual costumes

* She has a negative view of the surface world - the film will be about Arthur becoming Atlantean and Mera becoming more human

* Black Lightning - immediately after The Flash at 9 p.m.

* Supergirl - Sunday, October 14th at 8 p.m.
