In our last podcast Tim at OSS Tactical mentioned how an AR15 was a great platform for home defense and so I wanted to share my take on that and also go a little into why it is a great choice for home defense. There are many other reasons why but I am sticking to only the reasons I know currently.

The AR-15 also has a high magazine capacity, allowing for more rounds to be available for defensive situations.
