Smartglasses are head-worn computers with see-through displays that overlay digital information on the real world. They will transform how we discover, make decisions, and interact with the people, objects, and information around us. Once they have been fully realized, smartglasses will enable each and every person to be more creative and productive, and to achieve greater enlightenment and accomplishment. But we are still a long ways from seeing our neighbors and friends wearing them.

In this introductory episode, I provide an overview of why I believe smartglasses will have such a massive impact on society as well as the hurdles to achieving that impact. I also provide the basis for my perspective and cover the general content of the episodes to come.
