A new study that was conducted in Michigan finds that Arab Americans are the least likely ethnic group to seek help for any form of mental illness. In this study the Arab Americans that were screened 6.3% of them had some form of mental illness and refuse to seek any help and refused the diagnoses. The conductors of this experiment not only tested on Arabs but on Caucasian’s, Latinx, Asians, and black. Arab Americans exceeded the most out of all the ethnic groups.
