Some believe that the specific colors or light rays associated with the Archangels are an indication of the mission each one is assigned to in regards to helping those on Earth.  Colors influence humans differently because they have different wavelengths and frequencies, and these affect different parts of the brain. Color therapy, which uses color to cultivate energy in the body, dates back to the ancient civilizations of Egypt, India and China.  Angels are beings of light  and usually appear to humans using the visible spectrum of light visible to the human eye.
