Architect Karen Abernethy trained as an architect doing a Masters in Art in Public Spaces at RMIT University. Abernethy has established a reputation in the artistic community for her highly considered spaces, both at Gallery Funaki and for Craft Victoria. 

She is currently working on a yoga studio in New York and a number of residential projects.
