The Bible says that if a man does not work, neither shall he eat. Well, many never work but seem to enjoy the blessings of this life regardless. Should we try to find ways to get out of work? Should we demand that society and the government provide for our needs? There are many forms of work, but the command in scripture is to provide for your household, do good unto others, be fruitful in society and, most importantly, give back to God. How can we fulfill God’s command to work if we refuse to do so or refuse to give it our best efforts?
