Today Sherwood Ford the Giant off-season question is, could the Edmonton Oilers buy out a player this summer? There aren't many options for the Oilers to buy out over the offseason but there is potential one player that could find himself as an unexpected free agent. 

Additionally, they will give their regular season and playoff grade to Mattias Ekholm. Ekholm impacted the Oilers in a huge way when acquired from the Nashville Predators for Tyson Barrie.
