|Many people simply assume the natural sciences have permanently displaced God. Consequently, Christianity is often seen to be at odds with science, and many Christians have responded with defensiveness, suspicion, and fear. But, as we shall see, the response from skeptics often confirms that the feeling is mutual. But is there really a deep-seated conflict between Christianity and science?
