Over the past year and a half I have heard a lot of rhetoric about how conservatives need to "stop being so obsessed with freedom". It's about safety after all! But are the conservatives (specifically Christian conservatives) really the ones obsessed with their freedom? I make the case that it's actually the left that is obsessed with their freedom. But it's all driven by fear.
