4?14/2020. NYC added thousands of people to it's Virus death toll, almost 4000. They said that the data include at home deaths of people suspected of having Covid-19 symptoms including cough, fever, and shortness of breath. None of these deaths were confirmed by any test. Turns out that the guidance on reporting deaths from the Cvirus states that in cases where a definite diagnosis cannot be made, but  is suspected, patients  simply need to have symptoms. The feds also state that deaths classified as pneumonia or influenza may be listed as CVirus deaths if there is some degree of certainty. Listen for more info that thousands of the deaths may be primarily pneumonia. One may also ask how many of these Virus fatalities are caused by chronic lung disease, influenza, lung cancer, AIDS, or other conditions with similar symptoms from the Virus. Current estimates seem to be that the US death toll from the virus may be over stated by about 7 Thousand. Remember that the more deaths reported by the states, the more money will come in from the Care act. I would hate to think that be the case.
