Professor David Skillicorn, Professor in the School of Computing at Queen’s University joins us in this segment.  Dr. Skillicorn discusses the province’s announcement on Tuesday October 20th that it will launch a new  ‘digital wallet’ plan to move provincial identifications and services onto  a cellular virtual platform.  He highlights anticipated issues as 25% of Canadian do not have cell phones and underscores ‘smart cards’ as a viable alternative.
