Hot hatchbacks used to be everywhere but today less car manufacturers are offering affordable fast hatchbacks for the masses. Is this a temporary problem for 2026 or do new regulations and emissions equipment mean that few car brands can afford a halo hatchback as more and more people buy SUVs.
