I know millennial entrepreneurs take a lot of heat for being "lazy" and "entitled" and whatever else people throw at them. I've met some that are, sure, but to generalize an entire generation based on certain circumstances doesn't make sense to me. I can point out plenty of lazy and entitled people from all generations! Baby Boomers, Gen X, etc... I know lots of driven and hardworking millennial entrepreneurs.
It's easy to sit back and criticize an entire generation when the world around us changing so fast, but it's not productive. I find that the millennial generation just needs to be spoken to differently. You just have to figure out what they want and what makes them tick.
Some may say that you shouldn't have to talk to them or go deep, that they should just show up and be ready to work. Why can't it be both? It's about being empathetic and adaptive - no matter who you're talking to or what business you're in.
