In the 83rd episode of the Life In General Podcast we discuss a difficult topic that is at the top of many news programs, the recent mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. There have been some common sense proposals that have been discussed in the wake of these shootings, but we discuss whether or not any of these ideas could become legislation (we primarily look at the proposals that have been put out by Pete Buttigieg, who is running for the Democratic nomination for president). We also eventually get to our intended topic, which is under reported news of 2019. We also somehow get very sidetracked and end up having a rather heated conversation about the current state of American politics, but eventually make it back around to our original topic.
