Are Vacation Days Ok to Game?

Listen Later

Hey guys, welcome back to the podcast today I'm just going to discuss Is it okay to take vacation time to gain? Yes, of course, it's okay to take vacation time to game, there are so many benefits to doing that you're going to be stress free, you're going to be able to clear your mind. And you're going to be able to innovate, your creativity is going to go up. For instance, when you're home, and you're relaxing, and you're in a gaming world, you have time to really think about stuff. It's almost like a Zen moment. So yes, you can argue traveling is really important when it comes to gaming. That is not necessarily the case, because you can travel and those were worlds just like a good book, gaming provides that opportunity to be able to travel to those locations in an instant. And you also have that visual appeal where you don't have that visual appeal, whenever you're reading a book Unless, of course, it's a comic book. But it's not the same thing because it's not interactive. The main thing is here that you're able to get away from your job. And sometimes let's just put it out there, life can suck. And the best thing to do guys, is to get away from it and just take a vacation day and go game. You don't have to take all your vacation days that might be a little extreme. Or is it? I'm kidding, guys. But anyway, take a day, go play an online game, like go play Skyrim go play your favorite game. It's not there's nothing wrong with taking a day off, taking a break to clear your mind and come back to it tomorrow. And then spend that day video gaming. reducing your stress is really important when it comes to life. In general, you want to lower those stress levels, especially with everything going on in the world. Anything you can do that that escapism is perfect for today's world we live in. There's nothing wrong with taking a vacation day, just to get away from it all. Everyone seems to be on edge these days. And playing a good RPG can be a great way to get away and have fun. Now, I'm not saying that you should escape your life. But playing a game can be an awesome time. If you're having trouble with work. Or if you're having trouble with life. It's always good to just take that vacation day and enjoy it. You could always travel later on don't take all your vacation days, of course. And just remember that it's almost like a vacation if you have a really good monitor. I'm just kidding, guys. But it does help if you have a 4k monitor. We're all gamers, right. So that's okay to say. It gets even better if you have a virtual reality headset that really lets you get into the world. And then you're really escaping your life. But I digress. What can I say guys, but yeah, go ahead and take that vacation day, there's nothing wrong with it. The only thing you may get as you may get teased that you're a little bit of a nerd if you ever tell anyone. But with that being said, Who cares? Like it's accepted these days, video games are becoming more accepted. In order to get a more accepted, you have to find ways to just have fun and be yourself. being yourself is really important when it comes to video games. And I think we lose that sight. A lot of times, we feel like there's these taboos we can't do. Get around those taboo. And go have fun. Take that day. If you're not feeling up to it that day. And it's not going to hurt anything, take a day off, take some vacation, and then get back to it the next day. Gaming these days is so realistic, and there's so many different things to do, that you can really explore any world that you want to. And that's my point is, it's all about having fun. I think if we get too serious in life will lose sight of what's really important. That's what gaming allows us to do. It allows us to still keep sight of what's important by escaping from that very thing, then we come back to it even stronger. People who don't game may not understand this approach to life, you're not really escaping your reality..
