Ramogi Huma is the executive director of the National College Players Association. The NCPA advocates for student-athlete's rights in congressional hearings, lawsuits, petitions, etc. Ramogi was named one of sports' 50 most influential people in 2006-07 and Time Magazine's "12 New Faces of Black Leadership" in 2015. Most recently, he successfully sponsored the NIL Bill in California and is supporting the College Athlete Race and Gender Equity Act which would mandate universities to compensate their revenue-sport athletes.
