One of the main producers of Final Fantasy, affectionately called “Yoshi P,” said it’s not historically accurate for POC to be in Final Fantasy 16 since they’re going for a medieval flavor. I discuss how inaccurate this is in comparison to past Final Fantasy titles and mention some video game titles that allow more player choice and have actual POC and women in important and semi-important roles.
