Are we phone addicts? And why does it matter?

Smartphones are mixed blessing, promising convenience, connection, and efficiency. At the same time, they are engineered to promote and sustain addictive behavior. For years we have struggled against the pull of technology and looked for ways to use our smartphones more wisely. ¬We’d like to share with you some of the strategies we’ve found and implemented in our quest to find out what “wise technology-use” means. We invite your contributions as we figure this out together. This podcast will provide weekly tips/challenges to help you use your smartphone more wisely. Each week we will provide a new tip/challenge that addresses behavior change, offers alternatives, or other practices that others grappling with this problem have found helpful.
