Proverbs chapter 9 and verse 6 says these words, “Forsake foolishness and live, and go in the way of understanding.“
On July the 4th, we celebrate Independence Day in America. We recall the early moments of our nation when we broke free from what we felt was unjust control, and we claimed the right to self-determination. We knew this to be the right way to go, as long as God’s heart and God’s ways were at the center core of our journey.
Our founding fathers knew this and they spoke freely about it and without reservation. This July 4th I have a question for you. Are we still going forward, or are we walking away from God and altogether going back into captivity?
It’s time as a nation for us to pray again.
