Character: Jerusalem

Jeremiah prophesies against Jerusalem and they threaten death to him. The character for our consideration today is the city of Jerusalem. Does it remain spiritually inoculated against judgment because it is favored by God or does it fall under the Law of God? What are the impervious religious tokens for us?
