We can't treat the sacrifice of Jesus like a thing to be discarded. The blood that bought us is precious and we must give attention to the cause that follows that sacrifice with absolute devotion and focus. To live for ourselves knowing fully what was done for us shows we haven't made the cause of Christ our priority. Every single inclination of ours will reveal if we truly living for Christ or ourselves.
