There is no shame in being a beginner. And I know it can be challenging for some.

I’ve had writers who have a Master of Fine Arts or other creative-related degrees and jobs, and they beat themselves up because writing a book is challenging. They feel like they should know how to write a book.

Why would you know how to write a book if you’ve never done it before?
