“God knows my heart!” This is the cop out of the century if you ever been confronted with a challenge to go deeper in Christ you might be showing symptoms of lukewarmness! But hey we’ve all been there at some point of our walks. We give ourselves “grace” and excuse ourselves when we don’t want to take the next step into, dare I say SANCTIFICATION! It’s almost a curse words. But it’s was makes us more Christ like, that conviction you feel when your not doing the will of God or representing him well is Gods way of correcting. It’s like a traffic like green means go, yellow means slow down and red means STOP! Listen to Lords correction is out of love. The Lord DOES know your heart, that’s not as good as you think.
