With anything, there are a lot of fakes and phony actors who claim to be one thing, and are really another.

In John 8 Jesus says "If you abide in my word, you truly my disciples". This assumes there are fake disciples. Really, the world is divided up into three categories: Unbelievers, Fake Believers, and Real Believers. Which category are you in?
