Here are the 5 Levels of Leadership (regardless of job title):
1. Leading without authority -Delivering assigned tasks -Takes on more responsibility -Developing towards a leadership role
2. Supervising -Formal first-line leader focused on administrative tasks -Responsible for delivery of work and training -Point of contact for the team
3. Managing -Leads multiple teams with leaders within each team -Administers strategy and problem-solving -Measures quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the work
4. Empowering -Trusting your team’s skills and mindset to achieve the goals -Almost no direct involvement in day-to-day work -Creates team vision, KPIs, and develops other leaders
5. Influencing -Creates growth and innovation strategy for the organization -Sets the tone for organizational culture and what the organization stands for -Monitors business performance and adjusts accordingly -Leads with authenticity, empathy, and vulnerability
