Did you know that chronic stress can be a "secret stress"? It hides really well despite having a MASSIVE impact on our lives! Unlike short moments of high stress where you can clearly FEEL the stress (such as a presentation,  being behind on a due date, stressful family meetings, etc), chronic, everyday stress doesn't manifest itself as obviously.

Do you feel like you have become easily angered? Easily annoyed and overstimulated? Do you have constant stomach aches, hair loss, ulcers? How is your focus and concentration? Overall do you feel like you have become / are becoming a different person and you can't figure out why?THE LIKELY CULPRIT: CHRONIC STRESS.

We call it "secret stress" because you can THINK you are not stressed. In this episode, Beth talks about her experience thinking she was not stressed at all, even while chronic stress was causing massive issues in her health and relationships. Ayla talks about how -- even though she knew she was stressed -- chronic stress started plaguing her body and mind as well. Both Beth and Ayla had to learn how to respond to chronic stress.
