I had a thought recently that I believe that God deposited into my spirit, and that thought was this:

The reason that we see so much discord, division and conflict being sown in our society during this tumultuous time is because we're not deeply rooted. Therefore, instead of showing compassion, understanding and unity towards one other - which is really what most people want - we are encouraging even more negativity in a time where everyone has already had enough of that.
