We become addicted to our state of being. A person that has been unhappy their whole life is comfortable being unhappy, and even though they might like to stay change, the body becomes comfortable to the state of unhappiness. Awareness is the first key to change and acceptance is the second key to change just by being aware that you’re comfortable being unhappy you will change.
