Unless you're learning what you're doing right or wrong from your customers you run the risk of becoming irrelevant very quickly. Equally, if you aren't listening to your people who at the sharp end, you'll quickly disappoint them, and they'll either leave or become disengaged. Disengaged employees mean unhappy customers.
