As Mother’s Day is upon us, I know there are many of you, like me, who have a difficult time with this day. There are many reasons - many different types of grief - for why this day might be difficult for you, but I would like to talk about one: how difficult or non-existent relationships with our moms can make days like Mother's day feel less-than-celebratory, and then I will share some thoughts on how to move forward in our grief.
