We all want to be the main character in the story. There is something exciting about getting to be the one (or seventy-two) that God has chosen for a task. It's about us and it's about glory. And if we don't see our life going the same route as the hero-figure; we will feel as though we are not doing God's will. I offer you the idea that God could still be using you as a person of peace. Don't neglect the grace that God extends for us to be one of the seventy-two or one of the places that makes room for them. You're still being used for God's glory, my friend. Trust Him. 

Luke 10:1-2, 6 ESV

1 After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go. 2 And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.

6 And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him. But if not, it will return to you.
