Umeko Thomas is a receptionist at a nursing home and board operator/co host at WMNF 88.5 in Tampa. She first became depressed at the age of 8 years old due to being abused and ultimately led her to a path of attempting suicide twice.  Umeko says, "I want to spread this awareness because if I had just one person to take the time to listen to me, I think things could of turned out differently."
