Take a good look at what is happening here and now: the sign of the times is all around us.Question Are you ready to put Jesus first in your life, yes above family and friends.Matthew 6:33 (King James Version)
33.But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
We all want to love God more than anything and give Him the priority in our lives, but......The truth is that most of us are not there yet. Why? Maybe because we do not know that we love other things more than we love God. Love is not something you can show or give with words but with your acts.
If we love God more than anything means that God is our priority, and if God is our priority, we work harder to reach and do God's will within our lives compared to our own goals we set to achieve. So, if God's will be our priority, we should feel the urge to fulfill God's will, the same or even more significant as the urge of paying our bills, eating, studying, working. Our priority is what we evaluate, and we must do first.
Does this mean we need to leave everything and go praying and fasting? "NO, "but it means to let the choices we make during the day be guided by God. "What? Does it mean that we need to pray every time we are going to make a choice? "NO" and" Yes"; however, we need to ask God for guidance in all things; praying is communicating with God; we do not need to be a particular person to pray. We can always walk and talk with God.
All this is nice to say, but can it be done? "Yes, Jesus showed us that it can be done when He lived as a man between us" Our main problem is that we do not know what God wants. So, our first step is getting to know God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit and getting to know the way they see the things of this world and what they think about them. We can get to know God by reading the Bible and talking (praying, worshiping). So, by reading the true God-spoken word of the Bible and praying, we get to know God, which means the more we read and the more we pray, the faster we get to know God. So, if God is our priority, then reading the Bible and praying is our priority. So, if God's will be our hope and prayer, getting to know His will must be a priority. Then, reading the Bible and praying is also a priority. Reading the Bible and praying and asking for understanding and wisdom is our way to get to know God our Father through his loving Son Jesus Christ, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. than we do them the most we can. If God is our priority, everything else is less critical but still significant. So, what must we do? What we need to do is stop trying to fit God's will in our lifestyle; however, make God's will our complete lifestyle, stop looking for the time that is left to pray and read the Bible; and start reading the Bible and praying and do the rest in the time that is left.
If we want to seek God 2 hours a day, then you and I have a problem we are making God less essential but other things more important within the 22 hours left in our day, if the day is not long enough, do not make God's timeless make it the priority sunup sundown 24 hours a day, Psalm 118:24New King James Version 24 This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. There is nothing more important than making God's will our priority.Who Love's God does His will, so His will is our priority if we love God. So, whom will you choose to serve and your priority as for as it is written in God's word: Joshua 24:15 New International Version15 But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord."
