I also got my first paying subscriber on my app for $10. Seems small, but grateful, and I tell people to stay on grind until you get where you want or the information you need. See, for me, I'm an entrepreneur, but we have to also remember that a business has to be able t run if we are there or not.
So to make a little money while I sleep just makes me think I just need to make more pennies, add up with less work. LOL sounds like the stock market game lol. That's really the truth, though, once you have found and done all the work, it's time to let the run and team run it, and we have to learn this, especially for solo entrepreneurs and the black culture of business owners and entrepreneurs.
We have this thing called THE HUSTLE MENTALITY, and sorry t say it is over fr that in a way. Why, in this day and with AI, the hustle mentality means that if you don't put in the work, then you don't get paid or eat. That is not BUSINESS! The new trend that is going on is building and creating new solutions, apps, and tools with AI. And it's also very saturated with vibe coders, but it's also new for those who have no clue that they can make an app with words and make money from it.
Most are talking AI automations, agents, make an app, but then how do you beat all the super people that have already been in this and have the backing money and team? So for me, it's don't worry about any of it, let's focus on what we can do and SOLVE? Because to people we aren't seeing that, ok, they might be a major company and stuff, but there are 100 billion people in this world, different languages, places, and ethnicities. Even the internet is bigger than what we think from using just Google, Yahoo, AOL and etc. They made you think the dark web is just sme dangerus place, but it's really not, it's just about really 70% of what the internet really is lol.
So how did I make some money and get a user?
Google Ads - see, there are multiple different ways to make money from a site, website, or app. If, let's say, you don't have massive users, then you can get paid from having massive web traffic to your site.
Organic Marketing - I just kept posting and then made an AI agent marketer fr my business to also help make posts and blog posts. With AI, I can consistently post to my social media and then also get time to make new or more original content. Then they pay you on some platforms to make content. So that's what I'm getting at: make the pennies add up.
DATA- We aren't being taught too much about the power of data and the value around it. So I'll make it simple. Imagine you have 100 users, that is 100 emails, 100 different people's contact information, phone numbers, and more, depending on your site. Know how people are talking about leads, here you go, you have 100 emails, you have 100 leads now, from your app to use to target clients, and more.
People are even selling email lists.
Conclusion:
Don't stop, keep going. The world is your oyster only if you see it like that. You haven't talked to or interacted with millions yet, so don't let the small stuff stop or bother you. Consistency always outbeats talent. Now is the time to create and own what you create. The end goal isn't the money; it is how many people's lives you have affected or helped.
