Last week, we spent time talking about “Unity in the Church.” It is easy to allow our desires to trump the church’s overall needs.
Most of our time was spent looking at the idea of holding each other accountable. When we “all” seek the betterment of the church as a whole, we will be okay with the idea of accountability even if we are the ones being held accountable.
Today, we will talk about Freedom. The problem that most Christ-followers struggle with today is not addressed in this Passage. The Galatians were being enticed back to a works-based theology, but most of us struggle with the idea of being free from the grip of sin. I pray that we all would understand the power of the Holy Spirit Who dwells within us.
Our message for today is titled: “Are You Really Free”
Our points will be:
Main Scripture: Galatians 3:1-14
Supporting Texts: Isaiah 29:13, Romans 6:14-15, Ephesians 2:8-9, Isaiah 1:18, Genesis 15:6, James 2:23, 1 John 2:4, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, John 8:56, Genesis 12:3, Joshua 24:2, Romans 10:17, Philippians 3:9, James 2:10, Romans 3:20, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Matthew 5:17, Ephesians 1:13-14
