John the Baptist, imprisoned, suffering, trapped, sends his disciples to Jesus to ask him - are you really the one? Or did I make a mistake?  John shows us what to do when we have these doubts, discouragements, questions.  We ask, we ask Jesus, and we let Him speak to us through the Scriptures.  Persevere in that, and the Lord will never lead us astray!
