In this episode, Eddie and I will welcome two of our star students onto the show to share how they have been able to thrive during this pandemic. We will also discuss four different categories of people right now that we have observed based on how they’re dealing with the crisis the pandemic has unleashed into their lives. The first category are the people who feel stuck and paralyzed because they don’t know what to do, so they’re just moving in whatever direction the Coronavirus wind blows. The next category of people are just hoping and praying that things get back to normal as soon as possible, so they can get on with their lives as they were used to. These are the most frustrated group of people because things keep getting worse by the day with no end in sight.
The third group of people are pivoting by accepting how things are changing and looking at things in a positive manner for their own good, while the fourth group are innovating to change everything in whatever space they’re in. The mother and daughter duo, Andrea and Briana, who we’ll have on are business owners with Andrea being a bakery owner and Briana being the owner of a coffee business that’s based inside her mom’s bakery. The two will talk about where they have been in the different categories we’ve highlighted above, and share their individual experiences with how they’ve dealt with the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic on both their personal and business lives.
When businesses started closing shop, Andrea and Briana’s bakery included, Briana was worried because she had so much milk and fresh coffee that she had just ordered and didn’t know what to do with. So she came up with a very innovative idea to sell her coffee through no-contact porch deliveries, and she was planning on selling the coffee by the litre which was unheard of, but when she actually tried it, she sold out within two hours. Andrea and Briana’s story will be such an inspiration for pushing on during this time no matter what we face, so stay tuned for more.
