The third Sunday of Advent opens in a prison, with John the Baptist asking a question many of us still ask: Are you really the one, or should we wait for another?

This sermon sits in the space between promise and fulfillment, where Advent reminds us that faith isn’t pretending everything is fine, but trusting that God has already entered what is broken.
