Jesus comes proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom. And what do we see? What is the demonstration that the kingdom of God is now in our midst? Jesus is the healer who has come to bring restoration.

Are you the One? It’s the question on the mind of John the Baptist. And so he sends his disciples to ask Jesus himself. Are you the One to come or should we expect someone else? 

Are you the One? Throughout the early chapters of the gospel of Luke, people discover the answer is, “yes.” Jesus is the one who forgives, who sets free, who heals, who proclaims good news to the poor. 

Our mission as a church is to invite people to enjoy life with God. We proclaim the good news that life with God is now accessible and available through Jesus.
