Being 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘆 can be a huge mind-𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗽. Of course, sometimes we are dealing with too many obligations and responsibilities that we can not avoid running around like a chicken without its head. But if we were really honest with ourselves, being busy can also quickly become a justification for our existence.

When it comes to taking care of ourselves, we are too busy to go to the doctor, go to the gym, or call our family and even too busy to pursue our hobbies.

𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙮𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙩. Yes, we can always say the outer circumstances demand it. But in the end, not having better boundaries and not putting our needs on the get-it-done list is a choice we are making.
