We´ve all heard that by sitting with our emotions they pass through us quickly- except when they don´t.  

We know we shouldn´t numb our emotions, but is it okay to distract ourselves from them? And where´s the line? How can we tell the difference between numbing and distracting? 

When it comes to our emotions we are often not the most adept at deciphering their meaning. It doesn´t help when we hear mixed and often contradictory messages from experts.  

This week we are clarifying some of the information that is being bandied around about emotions, we explain the difference between natural and manufactured emotions and how to tell them apart and give you some tips for getting up close and personal with these very important messengers.
