Too often, the standards are lowered for youth pastors compared to any other pastoral role within the church. It is often viewed as the entry role for those aspiring to be a pastor and many times they serve more as the person who keeps your kids entertained and wanting to come back to church rather than teaching teens a deep understanding of theology.
