Once again, not a story
Bevis apparently writes a lot of short stories that aren't really stories at all. They are just the ramblings that run around in his brain until he thinks he has to write them down on paper. I guess to each their own, but I'm glad I'm getting these when they're free.
Once again, this wouldn't really be my idea of a story although I will admit it comes closer than a couple of selections I downloaded. This is just a guy rambling on about taking pictures of junk. I agree with most of the reviews so far that seem to lean towards skipping this one. You can surely find something better to do with your time.
While I have advised you to take a pass on this one, I will say that this "story" (using the term very loosely) has an upbeat, happy feel to it when compared to two other selections that were nothing but whining and complaining for the entire "book". This is SO much better than those that if you have to pick one or the other, you definitely should choose this one. I would rather recommend something a little lighter than the whining ANY day!
On the other hand, I have read a couple of Bevis' works that I really enjoyed so I know there is better than this out there. The problem with my recommending one thing over another is that everyone is different: you might hate what I like, and vice versa. However, since there are so many agreeing this is not that good, maybe I am on to something here. So take our advice and keep looking!
Funny bit bizarre
Honestly, it was the title that got be to download this book. It is not what I expected but it was still quite funny. When I have the time, I am an avid yard sale customer... often I just look but the folks you meet along the way are often more memorable that that piece of junk you just talked yourself into. Sure wish this story had been longer.

Big waste of five minutes. I thought it might be a funny one but no. It may be funny to watch there's but it sure wasn't to me.
WORTH THE TIME!
I loved it from the first sentence. Then to find out this yard sale he attended was only a few miles from my location when I was reading has me extremely curios. I too believe it's a cover up! Laughing still.

There were more stars for this book so that's why I chose it. Not sure where the "funny" is but I'm sure with all the people in this world someone will enjoy it. Happy reading to you all.
