Alina Whitehouse had several years of recovery after the onset of ARFID symptoms but soon discovered that ARFID was merely a cover for deeply rooted trauma that seeped out as panic and depression. Fortunately, she borrowed from her recovery power pack to choose to engage, allow loved ones to help and try alternative and medicine approaches to help her put space between her emotional experience and her reality.
