The government refused to sign the Organization of American States’ declaration against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, even though Cafiero condemned Russia’s actions in Geneva; to further align with the IMF’s requests, the Central Bank raised the benchmark interest rate up to almost 43 per cent; the government has decided to push back the tax adjustment on gas and petrol, electricity bills might go up, soy production numbers are looking even grimmer than anticipated, the country’s GDP has grown a little bit over 10 per cent in 2021, and much more!
