📣👊🏿 In this new episode of @WatchGodWorkTV with @adjah_l, we welcome our sister Ariel Atkins (@iamarielatkins)
Ariel Atkins is a professional basketball player for the Washington Mystics of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).
The WNBA world champion (2019, Mystics), 3-time defensive team and all rookie team honoree, was born in Dallas, Texas, where she starred for Duncanville HS and was a McDonald’s, WBCA and Parade Magazine All-American and later the University of Texas at Austin (Longhorns) who she led to the Elite Eight and three Sweet Sixteens.\
Atkins has been among the pre-eminent voices among professional athletes in their collective call for justice for victims of police brutality, yet her heart and commitment to service and community began in her home, long before ever being thrust into the national spotlight for her athletic gifts.
Watch God Work with Lawrence E. Adjah is a show featuring exceptional leaders from every arena of business, civic leadership and culture —from film, sports, media and entertainment to finance, tech, healthcare, social good and more— sharing their "God Stories" (aka "testimonies") exploring their faith journeys and how God guides their work and lives.
