I’m recording this the weekend before the January 26th forecast, right after Mars entered Aquarius and news broke about the murder of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis. We’re living inside a Mars–Pluto ignition point—force, power, confrontation—and it’s already escalating. What we’re seeing collectively reflects the deeper psychological and astrological story: Mars (desire, anger, assertion) meeting Pluto (the underworld, power, shadow, unconscious).

This week asks each of us: How do I work with this? How do I channel what’s rising without letting it consume me?

Moon in TaurusJupiter–Moon InfluenceNeptune moves into Aries

The Moon in Taurus gives us a grounded way to ask: What am I building? What do I value enough to voice? Taurus rules the throat. Mars in Aquarius wants expression with direction. This combination says: use your voice, name what matters, define your values.

Jupiter magnifies whatever it touches today, so amplify gratitude—freedom, shelter, work, dignity. Gratitude strengthens the muscles for kindness and human connection, especially in a time of so much brutality.

The big shift today: Neptune enters Aries. Out of Pisces’ fog and into fire. Neptune in Aries awakens the spiritual warrior. After years of confusion and dissolved boundaries, we now see passion and purpose rising. And yes, as I record this, an ice storm rages across the country—an eerie mirror for the “ice” of authority behaving without accountability.

Moon enters Gemini at 3:55 p.m. ETMars–Pluto exact conjunction

This is the ignition point. Messages fly fast and sharp. Gemini adds air to Aquarius’ air, fanning the flames. Multiple perspectives, multiple truths, but all with an edge of urgency.

Expect strong declarations—both publicly and personally. This is the moment people say, “Enough.” You’ll see pushback against authority, institutions, and any structure behaving like it’s untouchable.

Use the energy consciously: write, speak, connect, articulate what’s been stuck inside you. Mars–Pluto doesn’t whisper. It erupts. Better to direct it than be steamrolled by it.

Moon in Gemini

The air-fire dynamic continues. Calculated chaos is the theme—not just in the news but in our internal emotional weather. Authorities may escalate to justify harsher control. People react, and the reaction is used as fuel. This is a strategy.

But for the conscious person, this same force can be a creative engine: conversations, writing, brave communications, truth-telling. Today is about taking action through the mind and through the voice.

During the void period: stick to ongoing tasks. Nothing new has glue.

When the Moon slips into Cancer: the emotional body wakes up. At first, you may question your direction—second-guessing, discomfort, or someone else challenging your choices. Sit with it. Vet it. If it matters to you, commit.

Cancer helps you follow through with heart and intuition. This is the energy of protecting what matters and nurturing what you’ve started.

This is a super-positive day for connection, community, collaboration, and emotional alignment. Despite the outer-world chaos, today supports genuine bonding and finding the right people to help carry your work to the next stage.

When the Moon enters Leo tonight: play, entertainment, music, shows, joy. Let yourself enjoy something. It feeds your fire.
