Arizona'a Meteor Crater

50,000 years ago a meteor crashed into the earth in what is now Northern Arizona, with the force of 150 atomic bombs.  Today, scientists from all over the world visit the site to study the impact of meteors on earth.  The site has also become one of Arizona's most popular tourist attractions, with an impact site a mile wide and 550 deep.
